Wirrten by John Godber. Bursting with imagination and wit, Bouncers is an outrageous and hilarious parody of the disco scene. The four brutish bouncers of the title portray over twenty different characters as we are invited for a night out on the town.
6:45pm - East Town present FAWLTY TOWERS
Communication Problems, written by John Cleese and Connie Booth. Basil and the others have to deal with a very difficult old man called Mr Richards who’s hard of hearing, has poor eyesight and a short temper when it comes to his money. Basil has received a tip for a horse, Dragonfly. He uses his staff to place a bet on said horse and desperately works to keep this bet secret from his tight with money partner, Cyril.

Written by Lisa McGee. The play shows the lives of young people brought up on the tower block estates of Britain. Through the eyes of specifically one person, Lillie Lee, we see just how creative and imaginative someone can be when they are subjected to boredom and the constant feeling of isolation. Lillie tells stories she makes up, sometimes they’re funny, sometimes they’re sad, sometimes they’re wonderful, sometimes they’re terrible. But they are always just stories…

Written by Paul Cockcroft. It’s the ultimate reality show. Eight contestants from the world of Fairy Tales, split into 2 teams of 4, “The Has-Beens” and the “Wannabees” – compete fiercely against each other for the chance to revive or change their Fairy tale careers. It’s hard, it’s heartbreaking, it will have you cheering for your team and commiserating with the losers!
6:45pm - Oakeley's present CRIMES IN EGYPT
Written by Feargus Woods Dunlop.The funny 1930s murder mystery is brought to life by the girls of Oakeleys house. With an an intensely dramatic detective, german doctor, two ex-besties, attractive husband, new found lovers, a drunk captain, a romance novelist and her embarrassed son all aboard a ship sailing along the Nile. There's sightseeing, camel racing, crocodile spotting, drunken conversations, embarrassing mums, screaming matches, suspicious activity and….. I think I just saw a crocodile wearing sparkly crocs. But Aurora Lightly is dead! Horror! So who dun it? Follow the story of how the beautiful and respectable Aurora was brutally murdered in her cabin on Wednesday the 10th April 1935 at 11:30pm.

Written by Edward Monk, A group of actors rehearses a play within a play within a play. As the plot complications multiply, the actors begin to forget who is playing whom and who is the real director -- as opposed to the actor who is playing the director, or vice versa. Then they can't seem to remember who they really are, as opposed to the people they are playing in any of the various scripts. Then things start to get confusing.
